Long and drama filled。I wasn’t aware that this was 700+ pages， but I sped through it rather quickly as the story and the characters suck you in。 My only quibble is the repetition of who and what Alexis is， and how both her and Max seem to get bogged down by the same negative thinking。 Still， I rather enjoyed it for what it is， and I suspect that I’ll pick up the second book in due course。

Rejected queen makes a powerful queen！I loved everything about this book， from the strong previously broken girl to the strong， emotionally scarred guy。 This book was fast paced and left me wanting more！ I love how Alexis and Max’s relationship started and how good they were， while there were forces trying to break them and tear them apart！ Super excited to find out what happens next， since Alexis may or may not have gotten a small memory loss…Looking forward to the next book！
